The Rodgers Family

I promised myself to only post once a day, but I’m interrupting our regularly scheduled programming for some sweet tea that’s close to my heart.

If you ask any female – and male – in Wisconsin who the state’s heartthrob is, there’s only one correct answer: Aaron Rodgers. The superstar Green Bay Packers quarterback has been playing with the Packers for almost 15 years, and he’s been a mystery to me the entire time.

No, this is not a sports blog. But, Rodgers has quite the laundry list of notorious ex-girlfriends. Most recently, he had been dating NASCAR driver Danica Patrick (who’s actually from Wisconsin) for over two years. But as of today, news broke that the couple has broken up. And that’s the 411 on quarantining with your S.O.

Prior to Patrick, Rodgers dated actress Olivia Munn for three years. And let’s just say that for how much Wisconsinites love Rodgers, they hate Munn more. I’m not a huge Packers fan, but apparently she’s said some quite crude and private things about their relationship – the nerve!

So while this is breaking news to every Wisconsin citizen, that’s not the whole point of this post. I’m dying to know the real tea with the Rodgers family. Jordan, Aaron’s younger brother, appeared in Jojo Fletcher’s 2016 season of The Bachelorette. When I first found out that he’d be on the show, I was ecstatic. Myself and all the other Wisconsinites were looking forward to Jordan’s ‘hometown date’ to meet the whole Rodgers family. But when it came time to go home, Aaron was nowhere in sight.

Jordan, his parents, and his brother, Luke, briefly discussed that they no longer keep in contact with Aaron. “Fame can change things,” Ed Rodgers told The New York Times. Since then, my ears perk up whenever I hear a Rodgers mentioned in the news.

There’s still no certain conclusions, but I’m all eyes and ears for more.
